Funding of salary costs and further education:
Essentially, the state promotes two aspects: First, the further education costs up to 100 %. Second, the salary costs (gross wage + social security contributions) up to 75 %. And this for the entire duration of the further education.
Legal requirements for state-funded further education
The requirement is that you are a social security contribution employee or have one. The basis for this funding is a law: the Qualifizierungschancengesetz (Further Training Opportunities Act). According to § 82 of the Third Social Code (SGB III), every social security contribution employee has both the right to state-funded further education and to salary benefits. The special feature of this funding is that it is legally guaranteed. It poses no risk for either the participants or the companies. This makes it significantly different from most other funding programs. In concrete terms, this means that your legal entitlement is guaranteed and there are no repayment obligations.

1. Funding level depending on company size
The funding level depends on the size of the company. The smaller the company, the higher the funding. The funding amount is always based on the duration of the further education. This is as follows depending on the company size:

As can be seen in the table, the funding rates are highest in small companies with fewer than 50 employees. Specifically, the state covers 100 % of the further education costs and 75 % of the salary costs.
2. Funding amount depending on the employee's salary
Here is a calculation example: The employee receives €4,000 per month. This amounts to €4,800 including social security contributions. Thus, the funding basis is €4,800.
The company receives approximately 75-80% salary funding of around €3,840 every month for the duration of the training.
3. Funding payout dependent on the duration of the training
The Textakademie GmbH training to become a Digitalization and Communication Manager lasts 14 months. During this time, what is learned each day is immediately applied in a practical manner with a personal coach in the company.
4. Specific funding amount
This means the company receives payouts of €3,840 for 14 months. This results in a total funding payout of €53,760.
Additionally, the training costs of €19,392 are paid directly by the German Federal Employment Agency to Textakademie.
Thus, the company receives a total funding amount of €73,152 per employee.
No risk – no repayment obligation
It is important that neither the company nor the employee bears any risk. Even in the event of termination, there is no repayment obligation. Only the salary payments and the training are stopped. The participant does not receive a qualified certificate of completion, but rather a confirmation of participation for the period completed.
Selecting the training:
The provider and the training must be state-certified and approved. The training courses offered by Textakademie GmbH meet both criteria.
