Recruiting skilled workers through micro-challenges and hackathons for SMEs.

Smart Natives is an online, offline and hybrid innovation platform where young people can participate in innovation and idea competitions. These competitions or challenges are submitted by companies, institutions or the young people themselves and are then worked on within a specified timeframe, supported by the companies, by Smart Natives and, depending on the format, also by the mentors*.
In the process, participants experience completely new methods and skills that are aligned with the world of work and are already in demand today—and will be even more so in the future. The focus is on methods such as Design Thinking, Scrum, as well as IT skills and 21st Century Skills. These skills are trained, applied and thus learned sustainably through concrete projects. The results and progress are then visualized for the young people on the platform and can, if desired, be presented to potential employers.
