Dr. Markus Pilz: When I took over as Managing Director, my goal was clear: I wanted to leverage Vectorsoft’s decades of expertise while also preparing the company for the future. Innovation and customer focus were my priorities. With yeet, we developed a solution that shows how we combine tradition and modernity to support both companies and startups alike.
Silicon Valley Europe: yeet is described as a low-code platform. Can you briefly explain what low-code means and what sets your platform apart from others?
Dr. Markus Pilz: Low-code stands for the ability to create software applications using visual tools and without extensive programming knowledge. With yeet, we take it a step further: our platform not only allows for simple applications but also enables the definition of complex logic using scripting languages. This makes us flexible and versatile—a combination that sets us apart from no-code solutions.
Silicon Valley Europe: For which types of applications is yeet particularly well-suited, and which industries benefit the most from this technology?
Dr. Markus Pilz: Yeet is ideal for data-centric applications. For example, companies can transform their chaotic Excel sheets into structured, browser-based web applications.
