Fast Data Capture and Flat-File Creation: IRI FACT™ is a powerful utility for the parallel unloading of very large database tables (VLDB) into flat files – from billions of rows in minutes. FACT supports numerous databases such as Oracle, DB2 UDB, MS SQL Server, Sybase, MySQL, Greenplum, Teradata, Altibase and Tibero – an unloader for many systems.

With simple job scripts in a familiar Eclipse GUI, FACT generates portable flat files extremely quickly. The speed is based on native database protocols and proprietary split-query logic. FACT can optionally create metadata (.DDF) so that tools like IRI CoSort® or other data management and protection solutions can process the flat files directly. FACT also automatically generates load configuration files for the same sources.
