with static and dynamic data

ioncentric provides the technological foundation for traceable, sustainable products.

Dynamic data & static information together form the Digital Product Passport (DPP) – secure, precise and in real time. Custom analysis models can be flexibly implemented.

The Digital EU Battery Pass from ioncentric is automatically generated, verified and provided in a machine-readable, audit-proof format based on the captured real-time operational data from the eiscube and the product and lifecycle information consolidated in the ioneis Cloud.

Background EU Battery Pass

From February 2027, the EU Battery Regulation (EU 2023/1542) will require digital product passports for all industrial, traction and EV batteries. The goal: greater transparency, traceability and circular economy.

Requirements in the EU Battery Pass:

  • Tracked origin, materials, CO₂ footprint, usage and recycling
  • Enables compliance, ESG reporting and circular economy
  • Mandatory, machine-readable and linked via QR code

What begins with batteries can be applied to every connected product. The EU Battery Pass is the regulatory starting point and will expand into Digital Product Passports.
