Portal solution for input and output of structured electronic documents

The introduction of ZUGFeRD 1.0 already came with the vision of significantly supporting document exchange in the B2B environment by providing structured data for machine processing in addition to the established PDF document as a human-readable format. Quickly, many solutions emerged in a wide range of applications that significantly simplified and accelerated data exchange. The mandatory introduction of e-invoicing in invoice communication with public authorities (B2G) reinforced the realization of the necessity to deal with this data transfer.
Since the regulation of handling incoming XML invoices according to EN 16931 was defined by the Wachstumschancengesetz (WtChancenG), every company must deal with this invoice format starting from 01.01.2025, including receiving, checking, and processing it.

The solution ZS eDocument Portal offers:

- visualization of invoices according to EN 16931 (CII/UBL). The XML data is displayed in a readable format on the portal. Supporting documents (invoice attachments) are shown within the viewer and can be saved or displayed (if the format can be shown by the browser, such as PDF, image formats, etc.). The readable data (viewing copy of the XML invoice) can be generated as a PDF document for further use.

- the generation of XRechnung according to EN 16931 and ZUGFeRD. The generating system is connected once. The transfer of the required data is coordinated at the start of the project. From that moment on, the system delivers valid structured electronic invoices for your customers.

- for both formats, incoming and outgoing, technical validation is available with detailed results and color-coded display as valid or invalid.
